Delivery

Blu Betty is an eCommerce shop – we utilise the services of a courier company/Pudo to deliver your order. Courier costs within South Africa are:

  • Delivery to your door in an outlying area – R200 and delivery takes approximately 3 – 5 working days from date of dispatch. The turn-around is dependent on your area.
  • Delivery to your door in a main area – R125 and delivery takes approximately 1 – 3 working days from date of dispatch. The turn-around is dependent on your area.
  • In the area of Durban – R85 and delivery takes a day or two from date of dispatch.
  • Pudo locker to locker – R100 and takes 3 to 4 working days from date of dispatch
  • PLEASE NOTE – should we decide to introduce free shipping to any of our sale promos and/or to the website at any time, we reserve the right to reintroduce shipping costs at any stage or time, should we deem it fit. Free shipping is not applicable to international orders and rates will be quoted on.

Overnight delivery is available to certain main areas within South Africa. Should you wish to have your parcel overnighted to you, please WhatsApp 076 250 1872.

We ship internationally through a reputable courier company (rates are quoted on ordering and it takes approximately 8 working days for delivery depending on the destination country. This is over and above the manufacture lead time. International shipping rates do not include any Customs/Duty taxes. Insurance on your parcel is automatically included in your shipping value.

Order Tracking

A Waybill Number/Tracking details shall be provided after dispatch.

Payment

Your order will only be dispatched if paid in full.

Ordering

Should we NOT have your shoes in stock and should the note on the Product and Shop page confirm the same, you are welcome to ORDER and we will manufacture your selection. There is a lead time of approximately 2 weeks. This is included individually on each of the applicable products for your ease of reference ahead of adding your cart and checking out. You will be asked to pay upfront for your order. The dispatch of stock orders will take approximately 2 to 4 working days from the date that payment is allocated to your invoice. In the case of a payment plan, failure to pay in full within the agreed time will result in the forfeiture of the deposit by Blu Betty.
*Please note that the lead time for the delivery of your shoes via courier is over and above this.

Communications and feedback

Blu Betty will be in touch with you via email, telephonically or via WhatsApp should there be any delay or issues relating to the manufacture of your order in which case you are welcome to cancel and elect to receive a refund.

Leather and returns

As with most natural materials, leather by its very nature is organic and contains variances and imperfections in both texture, colour and appearance. These are NOT flaws or faults (and are NOT the basis for a return) but only serve to enhance the unique look and add to the character of your Blu Betty product.

Exchanges

All exchanges “carry” a handling fee of R150 (for main areas) for up to 2 pairs of shoes. This is a contribution towards the logistics involved in arranging collection of your original shoe/s and dispatch of your exchange shoe/s back to you. Should you need to exchange 3 or more pairs of shoes then the exchange handling fee will be R250. For those clients in outlying areas, the handling fee levied for up to 2 pairs of shoes is R200. Should you wish to exchange 3 or more pairs, the handling fee will be R300. Please note that exchanges may only be processed for those orders within 30 days of receipt of your Blu Bettys. Proof of purchase will be required to approve all exchange requests.

Exchanges on items that show ANY measure of wear will not be accepted/processed. The return of worn items to yourself will be for your own account.

Refunds

Refunds will be effected to the value of the shoes being returned to Blu Betty, less a R160 handling fee for the collection thereof if you are returning 2 pairs of Blu Betty’s. Should you need to process a refund on 3 or more pairs then the handling fee for your exchange will be R250. The refund will be processed via the payment platform selected to pay for your order ie. Payfast, Zapper, Snapscan, Ozow, PJN, EFT and only once the shoes are back in hand with Blu Betty. Refunds will not be processed for shoes that show any measure of wear and must be effected within 14 days from the date of receipt of your order. Please note that the items being returned for a refund MUST be returned to Blu Betty in their original packaging and a proof of purchase is required to accept a returned item. Any items that are returned to Blu Betty and are damaged due to inadequate protective packaging will NOT be liable for the processing of the refund. Repeat returns and refunds for more than 2 pairs of shoes will warrant a higher handling fee. For further assistance regarding the collection of your Blu Betty’s for a refund please email exchanges@blubetty.co.za. Please be advised that Gift Vouchers and Sale Items are non-refundable.

Exchanges and Refunds on ALL Sale Items

Please note that all discounted products are final-sale items and may not be refunded. This includes all End of Range sales, Flaw sales, and Black Friday sales etc.
Exchanges may be allowed on certain items and will need to be determined by our exchange department.

Warranties

  • Blu Betty is proud of the quality leathers we use and the experienced workmanship of our machinists and technicians. We might not be the biggest in the game but we have years of experience in the art and business of shoemaking. If there are any faults in our products we will repair and if not repairable then we will be happy to replace the product at our expense. Please note that this warranty period is valid for a period of 6 (six) months from the date of receipt of your order.
  • Please note that damaged/flawed shoes as a result of wear and tear will NOT be considered for repair or replacement
  • We must be notified within 3 (three) days of delivery of shoes of any faults, queries and/or issues in writing and via email to orders@blubetty.co.za
  • Blu Betty takes customer service seriously and as such, each case shall be handled individually
