Everybody knows that South Africa has the best rugby players, amazing wildlife, and good weather…But, we’re here to shine some light on our extraordinary female go-getters!!

★★ TALENT, BEAUTY, AND STYLE!!★★

One of these go-getters is the beautiful and talented, Dorette Roos – a skilled cellist from Cape Town whom Blu Betty had the privilege of shooting with!! I’m sure you’ve heard of this powerhouse already, but here’s a bit more about her noteworthy accomplishments…

Dorette completed her music education in the USA and Austria and dedicated a decade to the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra after which she transitioned into entrepreneurship, establishing herself as a versatile performer in classical, pop, and experimental genres.

As the founder of PLAY Live Music, she leads the PLAY String Quartet, known for its contemporary pop repertoire. Dorette’s talent has led her to perform worldwide, collaborating with various artists and appearing in prestigious events alongside renowned musicians. She is particularly sought after as a solo artist, showcasing her electric cello in diverse musical collaborations and prestigious functions. I mean, talk about a resume!!

Not only did we have an inspiring lady as a model and a fresh collection of autumn-ready shoes, but Cape Town’s spectacular Kalk Bay was also a breathtaking location.

When it came to actually snapping the shots, we were inundated with backdrop choices!! From the picturesque seaside and the endearing view of mountain slopesbackdrop, to vibrate alleyways and Table Mountain Sandstone forming valleys – there was simply no going wrong.

So, after taking a moment to mentally capture the magazine-worthy moment, Roxanne Davison Photography put her skills to work …

The waves were rolling, the sun was beaming down, and Dorette was rocking every pair of shoes like they were made for her!! It was a natural and effortless day…These vibrant, full-of-life pics are a testament to that!!
