Balmy warm KwaZulu-Natal light, “burnt” African hues and a focus on our richer coloured leathers made this shoot memorable!
Ammazulu African Palace is an absolute hidden gem in our own backyard in the outer-west area of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa! It provides just the right combination of materials and amazing indigenous flora to add to the homegrown African setting bar none of our “Living in Africa” shoot. It also has one of the most incredible views in the country and is worth a visit for that alone! The talented Monifah, from iModel Management, added to the easy-going style of this shoot with her relaxed professional charm and petite good looks. Roxanne Davison, our resident photographer worked her magic yet again!
We were all about our Baobab leathers, with a flash of Merlot and a snapshot of Gunmetal – all in the name of African richness! Look closely at the size zips, wrap-around ankle details, brogue punched stitching and practical and elegant Chelsea boot design and one gets an essence of the Blu Betty styling ethos.
Blu Betty being Blu Betty just simply had to add a touch of whimsy – thanks to our great team for a really beautiful inspired South African shoot.
