THE CLASSICO BAOBAB TRANSITIONS EASILY AND ELEGANTLY BETWEEN SHOE AND SANDAL
This gorgeous peep toe emanates effortless charm and elegance. It’s THE shoe to team with your favourite dress, it complements capri pants, skinny jeans and your linen culottes! This essential shoe can be worn on with basically everything in your wardrobe and is at home in the day and works beautifully in the evening!
Like all Blu Betty shoes, the Classico has genuine leather uppers and breathable polyurethane lining. Our gristle rubber soles offer longevity, comfort and non-slip properties.
Please note that given the open styling of the Classico it is more unstructured by nature.
IN THE EVENT THAT THIS SHOE IS OUT OF STOCK THEN IT IS AVAILABLE ON A BACKORDER BASIS – A 4 WEEK LEAD TIME SHALL APPLY (FROM DATE OF PAYMENT)
Please note that the leather used in this shoe is called a “pull up” leather and by its very nature has variations both in appearance and (to a far lesser degree) texture. It will wear beautifully and authentically which adds to the character of the shoe and is chosen specifically for this purpose and is not the basis for a return.

In the event that you may know our Classico from the previous season, please be advised that the Classico now has a slightly less rounded front, which does not change the fit but offers a marginally different aesthetic from the earlier version.
Delivery
Blu Betty is an eCommerce shop – we utilise the services of a courier company/Postnet to deliver your order to you. Courier costs within South Africa are:
- Outlying areas = R160 – one satchel can take up to 4 x shoes (takes approximately 7 – 10 working days)
- Main urban hubs = R100 – one satchel can take up to 4 x shoes (takes approximately 1 – 3 working days)
- In the area of Durban = R60 (a day or two)
- Postnet Counter to Counter service – R99 – one satchel can take up to 4 x shoes (takes approximately 3 to 5 working days dependent on your region)
- Gift Cards = (should you want it sent) R50 (or it is emailed)
We ship internationally through a reputable courier company (rates are quoted on ordering and it takes approximately 10 to 14 working days). International shipping rates do not include any Customs/Duty taxes.
Overnight delivery is available to ‘main areas’ within South Africa. Should you wish to have your parcel overnighted to you, please WhatsApp 076 250 1872.
Leather and returns
As with most natural materials, leather by its very nature is organic and contains variances and imperfections in both texture, colour and appearance. These are NOT flaws or faults (and are NOT the basis for a return) but only serve to enhance the unique look and add to the character of your Blu Betty product.
Exchanges
A fee of R100 will be levied on all exchanges. We will arrange for the collection and dispatch thereof, provided they are in the same condition that they were received in. NO exchanges will be processed for worn shoes. Exchanges must be effected within 30 (thirty) days from the date of receipt of your order. The cost of international exchanges will be quoted individually. Should you wish to exchange your Blu Betty’s, please email exchanges@blubetty.co.za for assistance.
Regarding the Baobab and Diesel leathers please note the below:
OPTION ONE:
Do not spot clean your shoes. Rather wash the leather completely with an extremely diluted mix of baby washing powder/water & a sponge (only very slightly damp). Do not leave them in the sun to dry as they will go hard. We recommend that you use a reputable leather care product to care for your Blu Betty’s.
We do offer an exceptionally good leather care gel, TeknoShoeCare™ Leather Care for use as a protective layer on new shoes (and for further maintenance) and a fantastic maintenance leather cream product, TeknoShoeCare™ Leather Cream which provides longevity and nourishment to all your Blu Bettys!
